A worldwide community of women whose generosity sustains and strengthens Jewish life, recognized by the iconic Lion of Judah pin.
The Lion of Judah is a woman who makes a personal commitment to the Jewish community through her philanthropy and leadership. Lions are connected to one another locally, nationally, and around the world, united by a shared belief that women can change the world through generosity.
To be considered a Lion of Judah, the gift must be made to our annual campaign.

The Step-Up Lion Program enables a two or three-year increased commitment to our annual campaign, while you immediately receive all the benefits of being a Lion of Judah.
Endowing your Lion ensures your philanthropy makes an even greater difference throughout your lifetime and for generations to come. A Lion of Judah Endowment establishes a charitable gift of at least $100,000 to Federation in your name, providing ongoing support to Federation and the causes most important to you.

Every two years, Lions of Judah from across the United States and Canada gather for three days of learning, sharing, and celebration, organized by Jewish Federations of North America. The conference features leading speakers across religion, culture, art, business, and politics.
It is a powerful reminder of our collective strength as women and of our philanthropic impact on Jewish life worldwide.
